Our Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet is shaping up to be great event, and I would like to invite you

accomplishments of our WDCTA members in competition, volunteerism, and other achievements. Our
speakers will cover important topics to optimize the performance of your horses, from advances in
equine dentistry, to using complementary medicine, to the benefits of cross training—you’re sure to

Linda Burich
Long time Southwest Chapter member Linda Burich passed away on Monday, January 30th, after a 17-month courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Linda's greatest loves in this life besides her family were her work treating patients and her animals, especially her horses Fraiser and Sweetie. Linda was active as a dressage rider and leaves many friends in the horse community.
Linda was a member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church in Sun Prairie where a memorial service celebrating Linda's life will be held on March 10, 2012. Visitation in the church narthex will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., with a Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. followed by a luncheon at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials honoring Linda's life may be sent to UW Carbone Cancer Center, 600 Highland Ave., Attn: Katie Arendt K4/646, Madison, WI 53792-6164.
