About WDCTA

The Wisconsin Dressage & Combined Training Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization run by dedicated volunteers. Through their efforts, our organization offers many services to eventing and dressage enthusiasts throughout the State of Wisconsin and Upper Peninsula of Michigan. WDCTA is proudly recognized as a Charter Member of the United States Dressage Federation (USDF).

Our organization was created in 1971 and was known as the "Wisconsin Dressage Association." In 1973, we became a Charter Member of the United States Dressage Federation. In 1986, we changed our name to "Wisconsin Dressage & Combined Training Association, Inc."

WDCTA membership includes: membership in a local chapter; eligibility to compete for year-end awards in dressage and combined training (eventing); group membership in the USDF; and the option of joining USDF as an Participating Member. WDCTA membership also includes 12 monthly issues to our informative newsletter, the eQuester. The WDCTA has Chapters distributed throughout the state of Wisconsin and in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Members typically elect to join the Chapter in their geographical area but are welcome to choose any Chapter and attend all club meetings. Scheduled meeting dates and minutes for each Chapter are publishedin the Calendar of Events, and meeting dates are also listed in the eQuester when available.
