Book & DVD Library Check Out Policies

Cost

Books and Videos/DVDs can be checked out by WDCTA members at no cost; you pay only the cost of postage. Please include a deposit per item ($30 per book and $20 per video/DVD), which will be refunded once the item is returned in good condition.

Due Date

Items may be checked out for one month. To request an extension, please contact the Librarian.

Overdue or Damaged Items

Members receive three reminders after the rental period ends. After the final reminder in writing (approximately one month after end of rental period), the member's deposit check will be cashed.

Procedure

Send two checks, both payable to WDCTA, to the librarian - one in the amount of $5.00 for postage to ship to you (covers up to 10 lbs of items; member pays return postage), and one as a deposit ($30 per book and $20 per video/DVD).
